At Central Control, our team is passionate about advertising and media. We are led by ad industry veterans with deep expertise in advertising performance measurement and data science. With decades of combined experience at Google, DoubleClick, Microsoft, Adobe and elsewhere, Central Control’s leaders specializes in technology and services for developing, implementing, and measuring the performance of advertising through randomized controlled trials (RCT) and related causal inference techniques.

Rick Bruner
CEO

Before founding Central Control, Rick ran research and product organizations at Google, DoubleClick, Viacom, Marketing Evolution and elsewhere. He has worked on causal inference problems for decades with leading brands and platforms, including Meta, Dell, Continental Airlines, Charter Communications, Interpublic Group, and Comcast. He is the Vice Chair for the global marketing science forum I-COM and is the founder of the influential Research Wonks community.

John Chandler
Head of Data Science

A PhD statistician, John invented Microsoft’s GRP & Reach Forecaster and pioneered multitouch attribution as Research Director at Microsoft Advertising. He is a Clinical Professor of Marketing at the University of Montana and has helped solve analytical challenges for clients including Tableau, eBay, LinkedIn, General Mills, the Sierra Club, and Kraft, among others. He is an expert in marketing analytics and data science, with extensive experience in geo-experimentation, market mix modeling, and incrementality testing.

Talgat Mussin
Senior Consultant

Talgat is an expert in causal measurement with a decade of experience in the ad tech industry. He scaled adoption of ads measurement solutions at Google, Amazon, and TikTok where he led analytics teams. He helped advertisers measure and optimize hundreds of millions of dollars in marketing spend by running 100+ incrementality experiments.

Ben Wood
Head of Engineering

Ben leads full-stack engineering for Central Control following a distinguished career with Microsoft, Redfin, and Smartsheet. With a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, Ben has a proven track record of building scalable solutions that drive advertising success for customers.

Campbell Foster
CCO

An MBA, Campbell leads commercial strategy and partnerships for Central Control as co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer, Previously, Campbell led GTM and operations teams for Google, DoubleClick, Adobe, and Akamai. Campbell has served in various roles with the IAB, ARF, NAB, the Streaming Video Alliance, and others.
